Hi there, I am a life long songwriter. I love rock n roll, writing and recording music. I lead a band in New Orleans, Louisiana called Cactus Thief. I have been writing, performing and recording for over twenty years now.
I have 15 years of demo songs on a hard drive , CD and tape, that I want to share with people who are interested in hearing selections of songs from my many years of home recording. This idea came from some people from my early days who ask for songs from the past to be put out into the world again.
I became excited with a subscription model idea of releasing songs, because I can release more fluidly and at a faster pace. Because subscription creates a more personal relationship with those who listen, I can be more open with what I share. Old songs contain a lot of growing pains, but I think they capture something and tell a story.
I will also create new takes of old songs recorded with my band. Solo work I have done with studio musicians and solo work I have made in my home studio. This is a place for me to release special songs, demos, stories and visual art.
This is a place to connect and share with people who truly appreciate song writing and the journey and process songwriting takes an individual over years.
